About Karen.
Music has been a part of my life for as far back as I can remember. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of performing on stage as a singer, dancer, conductor -- anything to do with music. I learned how to play piano by ear at the age of 5 and guitar at the age of 12. A few lessons here and there on piano and a little vocal training through the years, as well as studying songwriting, have brought me to where I am. God took my dream and turned it into a ministry.

Through the years, I've directed children and adult choirs, directed musical dramas, sung solos, played piano, led worship, sung in churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Louisiana, attended songwriting and ministry training in Nashville and elsewhere, and written about 100 or so songs (I've never actually counted them). I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to record two albums -- Home and Better Day are featured on this website. I'm currently working on new songs which I hope to record within the next year.
